Typhoon Lagoon, one of two waterparks located at the Walt Disney World® Resort, is themed after a tropical paradise that was recently hit by a typhoon. Guests will find a variety of debris scattered throughout the 56-acre waterpark from fishing gear and surfboards to the centerpiece of the park “Miss Tilly,” a shrimp boat that was tossed on top of a mountain.
While at Typhoon Lagoon, guests can experience a variety of activities including snorkeling with sharks & stingrays, plunging down rushing rapids and learning how to surf. Guests looking to relax can enjoy a ride down the lazy river or sunbathe on a sandy beach. Kids will enjoy a play area with smaller slides and fountains.
