Blizzard Beach, one of two waterparks located at the Walt Disney World® Resort, is themed after a one-time ski resort that has melted into a watery wonderland. Guests will find snow-less ski jumps and chair lifts on Mount Gushmore plus they can search for the park’s mascot, a blue alligator known as “Ice Gator”.
While at Blizzard Beach, guests can experience a variety of activities including plunging down the slushy slopes of one of the world’s tallest and fastest waterslides, floating down a tranquil river and sunbathing on a white-sand beach. Kids (under 48 inches) will enjoy a play area with a snow-castle fountain and kid-sized waterslides.
