Kissimmee, FL — Legends’ A Haunting at Old Town, the year-round haunted attraction that opened in October of 2013, becomes “Legends’ A Howling at Old Town: Full Moon Fury” on July 12th, 2014. “We thought it would be fun to have Werewolves take over the show during the full moon” says Jay Westerman, Co-Owner of Legends Dark Amusements.“Our show generally deals with the undead. But for one night only, the place will be re-imagined as a werewolf show. There will be a new storyline, a few changes to some of our scenes and of course, werewolves!”
Legends’ A Haunting at Old Town is a 2 story haunted house which tells the story of Ashdown and Son’s Undertakers, founded in 1889. As the story goes, the company patriarch, Archibald Ashdown, decided to scare up new clients by poisoning innocent people and allowing their unsuspecting families to pay for funeral services that he provided.
But this special version of the show will allow guests to join the murderous Archibald Ashdown for one of the worst nights of his life. Somehow his beloved mortuary has been overrun by lycanthropes. But Ashdown has a plan to get rid of his feral enemies. It involves live bait –That’s where the guests come in– but whether or not things go as planned for Mr. Ashdown, visitors are in for some fun and fright.
Movie quality sets, animatronics, special effects and top notch sound and lighting bring the story to life. But the real star of the show is Legends’ cast of highly trained haunt performers, hand-picked from Terror on Church Street, Skull Kingdom and Halloween Horror Nights and Howl-O-Scream alumni.
“We are very fortunate to have a good number of repeat customers.” Says Dan Carro. “I think it will be fun for regular guests to see a new twist on our show. At the same time, I think that people who choose to visit us for the first time on July 12th will also be in for a terrifying treat.”
Aside from the Legends Haunted Attraction, visitors to Old Town can also experience the Saturday Night Classic Car Cruise at 8:30 pm as well as shopping, dining and ride options.
