Orlando, FL — New details were released this week on the entertainment and experiences that can be found at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley, which opens this summer at Universal Studios Florida®.
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter expansion will introduce new shows, including “The Tales of Beedle the Bard.” This new stage show will feature four performers who will retell the famed stores of “The Fountain of Fair Fortune” and “The Tale of the Three Brothers” using stylized scenic pieces, props and puppetry.
The Singing Sorceress: Celestina Warbeck and the Banshees is the second new show to debut at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Diagon Alley. This new show is a musical performance which features the ever-popular singing sensation of the wizarding world. Guests will hear songs including, “A Cauldron Full Of Hot, Strong Love,” “You Stole My Cauldron But You Can’t Have My Heart” and “You Charmed The Heart Right Out Of Me.”
In addition to the shows, the expansion will include several new interactive elements including The Knight Bus, Gringotts Money Exchange and Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC. The Knight Bus, which is located in the London area of the new expansion, is where guests can meet and chat to the Knight Bus Conductor.
In Gringotts Money Exchange, guests can exchange Muggle currency for Wizarding Bank Notes which can be used to purchase goods from Diagon Alley and Hogsmeade. Guests can also experience “a wand choosing a wizard” at the new shop Ollivanders: Makers of Fine Wands since 382 BC.
