Orlando, FL — Universal and Loews Hotels & Resorts recently announced the opening of the fifth on-site Universal Orlando® Resort hotel, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort. The new Caribbean-themed hotel, which is set to open summer 2016, will include 1,000 rooms and suites, a full-service restaurant, a quick-service marketplace, and a poolside bar & grill.
The Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will feature floor-to-ceiling windows with picturesque water views including a lush, tropical lagoon and towering waterfall. The resort-style pool will include a water slide, children’s play area, cabana rentals and a sandy beach. Guests looking to stay at this resort, can begin booking reservations in spring 2015.
The all-new resort will join Universal’s existing on-site hotels, including: Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, Hard Rock Hotel®, Loews Royal Pacific Resort, and the recently opened Universal’s Cabana Bay Beach Resort. Like Universal’s existing onsite hotels, Loews Sapphire Falls Resort will include Early Park Admission to Universal’s two theme parks, Universal Studios Florida® and Universal’s Islands of Adventure®.
The new resort will also connect to the Loews Royal Pacific Resort via an air-conditioned bridge. This allows the two resorts to offer their guests a combined meeting space of 272,000 sq. ft.
