Orlando, FL — Due to the worldwide phenomenon with “Frozen”, Disney recently announced new experiences coming soon to the Walt Disney World® Resort. Currently, guests can meet-n-greet with “Frozen” characters at Magic Kingdom® Park as well as experience a “Frozen” parade, sing-along, fireworks & more over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios®.
A new “Frozen” attraction and royal meet-n-greet with Anna and Elsa are coming soon to the Norway pavilion at Epcot. Guests will be transported to the land of Arendelle when the new attraction opens in early 2016. To make room for the new “Frozen” attraction, Disney will permanently close the existing Maelstrom attraction on October 5th.
Beginning November 5th, Queen Elsa will transform Cinderella Castle into an ice palace nightly at Magic Kingdom® Park. Anna, Elsa, Kristoff and Olaf will also make an appearance in Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.
Wandering Oaken’s at Disney’s Hollywood Studios® will soon relocate closer to the Anna and Elsa singalong. The new area will feature a larger play area with real “Florida” snow.
We will post additional details regarding the “Frozen” expansion as soon as it becomes available.
