Bok Tower Gardens, designated as a National Historic Landmark, is a 250-acre botanical garden and bird sanctuary located in Lake Wales, Florida. The gardens feature a variety of plants including oaks, azaleas, sabal palms, magnolias, gordonias, as well as many others.
The centerpiece of the gardens is a 205-foot tall Singing Tower, which features Gothic Revival and Art Deco designs on the outside and a 60-bell carillon on the inside. The gardens also includes Pinewood Estate, a twenty-room Mediterranean Revival mansion with guided tours offered daily.
Bok Tower Gardens is home to many events including jazz, orchestra and symphony concerts as well as an annual plant sale known as Boktoberfest (October).
