Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts

Located in Downtown Orlando, The Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts plays host to a variety of events ranging from Broadway shows and stage performances to exhibits and special events. The onsite facilities include: Walt Disney Theater, Bob Carr Theater, Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater and the DeVos Family Room.

 

The Venues

• Walt Disney Theater
  With seating for over 2,700 people, the Walt Disney Theater is the largest venue inside the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. The theater plays host to Broadway shows, musicians, galas, conferences and more. The Walt Disney Theater offers multiple seating options including the Orchestra, Mezzanine and Balcony levels.
• Bob Carr Theater
  With seating for over 2,500 people, the Bob Carr Theater has been a major performing arts auditorium since 1926 and is now part of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts (located 1 mile North on 401 W. Livingston St.). The theater plays host to concerts, shows, exhibits and events including the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra and the Florida Symphony Youth Orchestra.
• Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater
  With seating for just over 300 people, the Alexis & Jim Pugh Theater offers a more intimate atmosphere with a variety of seating options on both upper and lower levels. The theater plays host to stage performances, cabarets, galas, along with other special events.
• DeVos Family Room
  With a maximum capacity of 400 people, the DeVos Family Room is perfect for special events, including banquets, cocktail parties, seminars and more. Guests will experience spectacular views of Downtown Orlando as the room features windows on three sides.

 

Parking Info

Parking for weeknight and weekend events is available in the City Commons Parking Garage. Valet Parking is also available directly in front of the Dr. Phillips Center on Magnolia Avenue. Valet pricing ranges from $22 to $30 in advance or from $25 to $35 at the curb. Guests with disabilities may purchase valet service for $10 in advance ($12 at the curb) or park at the City Commons Parking Garage and take a shuttle the Dr. Phillips Center.
