Travel Tip: New Map Offers Navigation Tips for Visiting Downtown Disney®

Orlando, FL — As you may already be aware, Downtown Disney® at the Walt Disney World® Resort is currently undergoing the largest expansion in its history to become Disney Springs. The expansion, which doubles the number of dining and retail options in the area, is expected to complete sometime in 2016.

Disney has provided several tips for navigating to Downtown Disney® during the expansion. Guest should arrive at least an hour early for scheduled entertainment & dining reservations. Also, complimentary boat transportation is available to travel between the Marketplace, West Side and Pleasure Island districts within Downtown Disney®.

For guests staying onsite at the Walt Disney World® Resort:

  • Use Complimentary Resort Transportation – Bus transportation is available from Disney resorts. Watercraft transportation is available from Disney’s Port Orleans Resorts, Disney’s Old Key West Resort and Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort.

For guests traveling with their own vehicle:

  • From I-4, Take Exit 67 – Guests traveling on I-4 should take exit 67 towards Downtown Disney® and then follow signs for parking.
  • Follow Parking Signs For The Best Access – Guests should follow lighted signs to access available parking lots, including available parking at Casting and Team Disney buildings located across the street.
  • Valet Parking Is Available – Valet Parking is available for $20 per vehicle from 10:00 AM to 1:00 AM at the Marketplace (via entrance 2) and from 2:30 PM to 2:00 AM on the West Side (via entrance 3).
